The Kiss - A Deep Love Poem

A Kiss ? What is a kiss?
The definition of kiss, by Professor of Philosophy:
Kiss is the persecution for the child, ecstasy for the youth and homage for the old.

Professor of English:
Kiss is a noun that is used as a conjunction; it is more common than proper; it is spoken in the plural and it is applicable to all.

Professor of Architecture:
Kiss is a process which builds a solid bond between the two dynamic objects.

Professor of Computer Science:
What is a kiss? It seems to be an undefined variable.

Lets read this Kiss Love Poem by Cupid

In immersed anticipation,
I lay counting the stars;
Waiting for the day to dawn,
For the moment that isn't far.
Cuddling a million times,
Smiling, vexed, anxious, pale;
Brimming with thoughts thousand,
My mind isn't doing well.
When will the darkness fade?
And the orange dye spread around;
I lay reckoning peevishly,
For my heartbeats make the only sound.
How will I tackle and taste,
The juice of your lips,
Losing my nerve maybe,
I'll drink it in sips.
Alike a vampire hungry, All through a millenia,
I'll bite your lips,
To enclose it in my nostalgia.
Holding you dearly my love,
Hugging you so tight,
Never will I leave you O dear,
Never out of my sight.
If ever elixir was made,
It wasn't in some sea deep;
It is there waiting for you,
On your lover's lips.

Rejection

It hurts to be rejected. To not be loved in return. But what hurts more is that the person has rejected you because of what others say about you. Here's a love poem I wrote on rejection.

Rejection - A Love Poem on Rejection

It took a long time,
For me to confess;
The feelings I'd for you,
The Love I'd suppressed.

Finally the words said,
Anxiety coursed through my nerves,
There was no budge whatsoever,
On your cheeks and lip-curves.

Non-chalant you stood,
As if you hadn't heard,
The words to take out,
I'd for so long feared.

Knowing I was,
Your choice of a guy perfect,
Still my heart never digressed,
To love you without bereft.

Had you looked in my eyes,
Only once, O dear girl;
There's a truth in my love,
That you believe to be blurr..

Love ain't judged, milady,
On what others say;
If there's faith in heart,
Even hatred seems gay.

Love ain't a game
That everyone plays,
It's a feeling divine,
Listen what your heart says..

At the world of hypocrites,
I smile in anticipation;
Sipping the tears,
Tears of your rejection...

Who Are You?

She's been a mystery to me. A secret I want to disclose. This is a Love Poem that I write for my girlfriend.

Who Are You?

Are you an illusion,
Or a dream?
The moon that shines,
Or the sun that gleams?
A fairy fair,
Without wings?
Or a carefree canary,
that sweetly sings?
Solace to sorrow,
A bestowal Earth borrowed?
A nymph that dances devout,
A charm to take your heart out?
A warrior bombing hearts,
A masterpiece of God's art?
A beauty that blooms?
Or an evasion from the gloom?
An anchorite sailing lands?
A privilege skies grant?
A soul with ethereal elegance,
A labyrinth of condolence?
Confused I am, to know who you are;
Full of queries, as the sky with stars.
Coming to the conclusion of thee,
A recluse living upto eternity.
Knowing you've no time, O paradox,
Answer the last questions I ask;
Aren't you my dear a heavenly sprite?
Or simply put, a poem that I write?

Love Fades Away

A Sad Poem - Love Fades Away

Love fadeth away,
When smiles change to tears.
Love fadeth away,
When comforts change to fears.
Love fadeth away,
With each moment that pasts;
Hugs are replaced by scars,
And romance by holocausts.
Love fadeth away,
When kisses, caresses are faken,
Instead of the heart, and soul,
Sexual desires are awaken.
Love fadeth away,
When he ceases to freely speak,
He ain't the one who loved you,
But a guy heartless and bleak.
Love fadeth away,
Not when there are no gifts,
The same foul packet he buys everyday,
To taste you before you drift.
Love fadeth away,
As the gleam in his eyes disappears;
He doesn't stare you in the eyes now,
Told you he ain't the one previous.
Love fadeth away,
When there are no silent whispers,
Just reluctant groans and moans,
That you could no longer endure.
Love fadeth away,
As you kick him in his balls,
You deserve a true lover O dear,
There's no place for a love so false.

The First Romance Night - A Sonnet

This is a Romantic Love Poem Sonnet by Prathamesh Deshmukh, the author of this blog having the best romantic love poems ever!

With the sun that sets and hides,
Start a new voyage in dim light;
Little away from the rain-splattered window,
Cuddle and giggle a groom and bride.
As I taste the sweetness of her neck,
I see in her eyes; the love so genuine,
She runs her fingers in my hair,
Oh how I love this feminine!
The talc of rose on her back,
And her tingling touch arouse my senses;
With her hands embracing me, she rises
Leaning above the bed to cup my face.
Sipping elixir I feel as I taste her mouth,
Knowing she is mine; my hands stray south.

An Angel From Heaven - A Love Poem By Prathamesh Deshmukh

An eerie fragrance piques me,
Numb a creature striving to sleep;
Another clink from the shadows advent,
Now making me dither and leap,

Gone is the darkness; As I watch with scintillating eyes,
Elegant a girl walks in; with her face so nice.
Looking like a fairy so fair; with hair curled,
Frail her steps; eyes a pair of pearls,

Revering her I stand and stagger, unconscious;
Oh my legs bereft life.!
Mildly she holds my hands,
Having me stand; me a sudden slide,

Ear to ear she smiles stealthily,
As I glance Cupid in the skies;
Venerable her grace makes him blush beven
Erstwhile a heartless myself fell in love,
None with but An Angel From Heaven.

I Have Known A Girl - Cute Love Poem

This is a Love Poem I have written 3 years ago when I was 14. Glad that Facebook allowed me to peek into 2011.

I remember the day. I realized that love cannot happen at the age of 14, and made myself believe that it was nothing but infatuation, or maybe the inflicting teenage hormones, or maybe an impact of Indian Cinemas.
Till date, I don't know what it is, but whatever it is, it makes me write more. Is it love?

I have known a girl
who made me think

Who sometimes wear

a shirt in pink

Through her style

and the way she smile
She caught my heart
in just a while

Through her picture
I looked at her
The things I feel
gets stronger

I tried to turn my sight
on the other direction
But a picture of her face
was always on my illusion

I don’t even know, how could this happen in me
But I know that it’s real
not fake or fantasy

I found a girl
who sets something in me
That I can’t really explain
as far as I could see

As I close my eye, when I lay at night
She’s the only one
who was always on my sight

If only I had, a right time and a chance
I’ll tell my love
for her with a glance

But sadness I think
was there to fill my heart
Because chances were hard to find
and still were apart

I don’t even had time
to hold her near
To whisper my love
I feel to her ear

Now how could I tell
these things I feel
And show to her
my love is real

If I can’t reach her, because the way’s unclear
For guys like me
to her we're near

Each night I lay
in God I pray
To give me chance
and find her way

Wishing each time
with me she stay
Because every time I see her
all my worries fades away

But if chances and time
will never be mine
Through the pen in my hand
I’ll write on each line

To tell this story
through a poem in my mind
About a pretty girl
who really I liked to find

A girl who’s name is written in history books
When the Struggle of Independence start
which I sing all along

A girl whom my heart
really fell in love
Brighter than the stars
from the sky up above

Now I will take time
to end this story
About a girl, who made me think in a day

I’ll just hope and pray
Wishing that someday
A time will come, and cross our way
I have known a girl.. !

Love Is In The Air

Lovely whispers,
That steal away my slumber,
I smile at myself,
Drugged by her amber.

"Look, the blind in love guy"
They yell and they taunt,
While I eye over the horizons,
Scouring for the girl I want.

She smiles over the distance,
Flushing crimson on her face;
Dwindling the distance barrier,
To enwine in an embrace.

Lips eager and athirst,
Come to life esteem;
Sending tingles down my spine,
Her eyes in grace gleam.

Interwined in a hug prolonged,
We stand free yet firm;
Amind the people that watch,
She blushes and squirms.
For eternity I could watch,
Her smile curved on her lips,
Having her around me,
Gives me heavenly bliss.

She takes my hand;
For holding for life,
Knowing that she makes me happy,
Fighting worries and strife.

Hand in hand; we walk ahead,
Climbing the transverse stairs,
Hearing them muttering from behind
"Love Is In The Air"

A Love Song For You..

As I make up my mind,
To write you a song,
Time stands still suddenly,
Making me feel so strong.
Echoing your whispers,
A breeze blows in;
In a moment I am,
In the skies, soaring.
Amidst the skies, I see us, playing;
I watch in your eyes, The love so gleaming.
As I make up my mind, To write you a song,
I strive to be honest;
Not showing off the wrong.
With all my heart darling,
I'd make our love dance;
Walking to the horizon,
Only love we'd glance.
Standing by your side,
'Till the last beat of my life,
Kissing you everyday,
And to make you my wife.
As I make up my mind, To write you a song,
Thankful to God I am, For this love lasting long.
Knowing we are blessed,
Entering His holy trance, O my beloved;
My Good Samaritan.
I see in your eyes blazing,
The love-in-return so rare,
How lovely we do look,
Standing in a pair!
As I make up my mind O dear,
To write you a song;
T's a love poem to you,
This is where I belong.

God Gave Me A New Life

There came a time in the little years of life that I've lived so far, that I was driven by a zest. A zest to score, a zest to perform well in academics and be the topper. I could hardly distinguish between day and night and I was busy mugging and studying each moment that I got. Anyone elder would say, "Whats wrong in that?"
Well, everything is wrong in that. Being a bookworm, I hardly had any good friends. I hardly knew what love is and what it really means. I didn't have a much loving relationship with my parents. I was always looking to be the topper. This is when I was 16.
Eventually, my health detoriarated and I was kind of what you say 'MALNOURISHED' as you put it. I never really understood the concepts and had their application. So what was the use of this penance anyway?
Many of my acquaintance and my parents frequently guided me, but I was too arrogant to hear. Then came the worst period. I hardly had any concentration in studies, as a result of my sleepless nights. A low score in a few tests dwindled all my winning zest. I was discouraged. For a month or so, I hardly studied. It hardly spoke to anyone. Indulging in nonsensical thoughts and solipsism, the lighthouse to guide my soul was hardly to be seen.
What next?
suicide?
Yes, I had it in my mind. The whole dilemma I was lurking in, maybe you'd have experience the same too.
It was only when I had a wake-up call. The atheist in me considered the omnipotent as the final hope of inspiration. It was this ultimate revelation that is clearly visible and concisely applausible, but idly acceptable. Well, give it a thought and trust in God. He has all the solutions. The Omniscient and the Almighty loves you and cares for you. This is my story in the form of a love poem. Yes, a love poem . And this is nothing in comparison to the love He bestows over us.
~ When the world slowly fade away,
And I plunged into the gloom;
I could see hopes climbing down
From the edifice of courage; the glorious tomb.
Time wasted and days spent;
In the most vain of endeavours,
Hardly did I stopped by and cherished,
The beauty of nature, her grandeur.
Hardly did I value,
The childhood slipping by each moment,
Letting myself pass the time,
Eventually leading to a predicament.
Anticipating the whole family believes,
I'd be the one to carry their burden,
I doubt whether I'd tackle the problems,
Safely jumping through the hurdles.
Seeing the glint in their eyes,
That says, "Son, you're our last stand";
"But I've been too idle, Mom,
If only you could understand."
Inspiration is what I seeked,
To help me out of this abyss,
This catastrophe I brough to myself,
Left me walk with repent and gees.
As I was giving in the hold of life;
With each moment that passed,
Away from my father and mother,
Who'd hold for me regular fasts.

When the world slowly fade away,
And I walked in hell's room;
I prayed to God with all my heart,
And flowers of inspiration bloomed.
'If only I'd prayed a bit early'
I recalled to myself; with a smile,
Perhaps He had a plan in this too,
To lend me wings after walking miles.
Whenever I replay these days,
I hear His whisper from the skies,

'There's no need to live in the castles, my son,

Live in the place your passion lies.'

Let's Be A Pair..

From the depth of my heart,

Strikes a thunder,
Apparently stunning me this idea,
That you aren't near.
A thousand dreams dreamt,
Seas of tears shed,
My heart trying to forget you,
But the love never fades.
Kneeling before God,
Shadows of me so dark,
The very notion of losing you,
Makes me shiver with a spark.
What on the Earth I did,
A crime or a sin;
That you never understood,
My love so deep and keen.
Evading the shackles
That bound me in hell,
I yearned for your love
To be mesmerized by your spell.
They say love never dies,
That it strengthens the soul,
What on the Earth am I doing,
Playing a prank or a troll?
If only you took notice,
Of a guy to love, and to care,
Don't walk away for heaven's sake,
Take my hand; let's be a pair.

Sachin Tendulkar - Tribute to the Master Blaster

Someone asked me, 'Whom do you revere?' It took me a nanosecond to reply 'Sachin Tendulkar'.
 Its certainly plausible that every teenager in India admires him. Not just in sports, but overall he's an idol. He's beyond words. His serene look, and the innocence, and his shots, oh! No doubt if you ever knew what cricket is, you must have also known this legend.
Why am I mentioning Sachin Tendulkar on this poetry blog?
Certainly it is about poetry. I remember it was Sachin's last match. I had bunked my IIT Coaching to watch him play. Tears were flowing down my face as he bade his farewell to the realm of Cricket. But this ain't true. Who says he quit? He plays. He still plays. Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar still hits his straight drive and square-cut.
WHERE?
Remember that guy who plays in your neighbourhood? That little guy who is known for his instincts and excellence ? Yes, he's SRT10. Anyone who has sheer passion in their cause is undoubtedly the Tendulkar of that field.
Poem on Sachin If I say I've written a poem on Sachin, that would be a disgrace. Words fail when he bats. Rhymes end when he smiles. And time stood still when he took his leave. Nevertheless, I tried my best to write a few words for him. Well, that is nothing in comparison to his dedications to India, is it?

"SACHIN 10DULKAR"
Stumbling at the balls they threw,
The masters lose their spirit;
For the bowlers like Imran,
The Indian team was a treat.
One by one they gave in,
Falling to the foreign ferocity a prey;
The pavalion revealing the tensed Indians,
When another made out his way.
"Look, he's just a kid."
The teenagers would murmur;
Who knew he would grow up,
To be 'The Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar'.
He endured the balls that others fret,
In a zest to tackle them..
This 16 year old tailender,
Wasn't playing for tidbit of fame.o;
With every match in the series,
Always striving to making India win;
Scoring a century though being hit in the face,
He induced on everyone's face- A flush of pink.
Excelling in his poise and tactics,
Pioneer all through 24 years,
He became a nightmare to the bowlers,
His 'square cut' was all they feared.
Making record of records,
An idol in the realm of cricket,
To the bowlers that would debut,
His wicket was the ticket.
Not just in cricket scores,
This maestro rocked the cradle;
His compassion and tranquility soothing everyone,
Made him worthy of the medal.
When it comes to devote your life,
To your cause; to your passion,
The Master Blaster is a relevant example;
To anyone who seeks inspiration.
People die and people are born,
But quite a few are reverred;
In the hearts of our hearts dwells our her
Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar...

Thanks Sachin, thanks for your contribution and inspiration.

Relationship : An Acrostics

Real and true, A bond;
Eternally for promised,
Love and affection as ingredient,
A relationship's vow till demise.
T's token of the feelings,
Intersecting and forming a duet,
Out of them emerges,
Noble-hearted artist, a painter, a poet.
Serene and spontanious a story;
Having him and her nurturing trust,
In between them lies this bond
Pure, divine; despising lust...

I Am In Love - A True Love Poem

Never had I surmised,
I would fall in love;
It happened so suddenly,
Hardly could I know.

Her eyes were scintillating,
Her hair so sleek;
Time stood still at the moment
I was watching her like a geek.

She spoke with a serenity,
That'd calm the angers of all;
Her voice was so sweet,
Like angels giving you a call.

Her manner was so gentle,
Her walk so fine;
No one would call her human,
She had a touch of The Divine.

Her eyes exploring the Earth,
Glimpsed me anyhow for a moment;
They blinked and glared me back.,
I wondered if it be an accident.

From childhood upto now,
I always dreamed of a princess.
Now in reality she was, there
And to my surprise our eyes met.

The meadow around with green lustre,
Bade 'hello' to the masterly beauty.
But her eyes, gently piercing my soul,
I never experienced such a sanity.

The golden sun smiling in the blue sky,
With its rays gleaming over her hair;
Array of perfection she already wore,
Making it a complexion so beautiful, so rare.

Nature-born or God-gifted;
This girl made me fall for her;
I wondered if she be a fairy,
'Had she white wings with white fur?'

At the whole of her sight,
You'd have said she was a dove;
But my heart couldn't stop singing,
"I AM IN LOVE"

The Reunion

Read also Distance in Relationships .

Standing on a precipice,
Ready to take a step and die,
A warmth felt in my palm,
And I couldn't help but sigh..
Before I could say something
My cheeks felt a shutter;
Your slaps felt the same,
Your attitude did flatter.
That moment I felt,
My soul coming back from grave.
Going to die I was,
You were the one to save.
Pleased as always,
I couldn't help but hug you;
The Almighty alone knew,
How much I missed you.
Without you a day,
Was a day without sunshine,
How everyone asked me 'what's up?'
And I said 'nothing, I am fine.'
The spaces between my fingers,
Are for you to hold,
We'll be forever together,
I had already foretold.
From that day to now,
Life is all fun,
How can I ever forget;
Our Reunion.

Love Poems Of A Gardener

Daydreaming as I lay,
In the garden; thinking of her,
Indulging in the nostalgia,
I am interrupted by raucous murmurs.
It is the Ashoka whispering,
'He's still in love, with the same girl!'
And little rose interrupts, "He can't be;
The sea of beauty has many pearls!"
Squirming in between the eyes
Our love who witnessed;
The seed of love once sown,
Had grown up as a cypress.
The squirrel frowns,
Irresolute of me being certain;
Hoping that I ain't missing,
The culprit who closed the curtains.
The anxious sparrow,
Seizing in her beak an alive bee,
Demurs with her head,
'No, no! You cannot be!'
The ape on the Banyan,
Whooping to the top of its voice-
"After all this time?
You must be kidding guys"
Desperate for my response,
Pricking its ears,
The mole from the underground,
Approaches to me nearer.
My wet eyelasher blurking,
The love that never dwindled;
Everyone of my acquaintance knew,
The love that she kindled.
Audacity of me, soon to be hampered,
The beasts consoling; the orchid pampered.
Gazing the patch of greenery that galloped,
Sensation through my veins,
The lawns were soon to be orphaned,
No one to guard the fence!
So daydreaming in the garden,
I lay below the sycamore;
Watching the coppice,
That we together adored;
Replaying the moments again,
Smiling at a few harebells,
Leaving the hold of roots of life,
The gardener goes cold and pale..

I Am In Love..

"I AM IN LOVE"

Never had I surmised,
I would fall in love,
It happened in such a way,
That I hardly did know..
I was enchanted by you,
And gave up all the fies,
Time stood still on the glimpse,
Of your venomous eyes..
A thousand daffodils danced,
The glorious green carpet rolled,
I floated over the meadow,
To reach your scintillating soul..
Your face glistened,
With the golden sunrays,
And appeared dull before you,
All the heavenly fays..
You took my hand,
And placed a keen kiss,
Never had I experience,
Such a bedazzling bliss..
Although destiny was the culprit,
To make me fall for you,
Never would I dare to deny,
I am so much in love with you..!

The Secret Lover

As soon as I saw you,
in my head I got stunned,
A new adventure of love,
in my heart had begun.
Elegant fays with flickering wings,
fled high and low,
Cupid shot me in my heart,
an arrow with his bow.
Hardly could I surmise,
the impact of your grace,
You won over my heart,
and lured me in various ways.
You came into my dreams,
And stole away my sleep,
Over my vulnerability to talk to you,
dry tears I did weep.
If only I could read your mind,
I would have read your feelings,
the mysterious feeling about me,
that caused me nothing but weepings.
Everytime I am about to say,
the words that express what I feel,
I fear that you wont believe,
that they are genuinely real.
Sometimes I fear,
I dont have good looks,
the same way they are,
in films and fairy books.
I think it is better,
to leave the words unspoken forever,
and let my heart endure,
the pain of being a secret lover..

Desolation.

As I cuddle up on cold nights,
restless; I memorise those kisses and fights.
Life was awesome; with you by my side,
Presently, it is full of lonely rides.
I often walk; aimlessly.
Completely dumbfounded at what I do,
My life has lost its purpose,
Its hard to believe yet true.
Sorrow-stricke me,
With eyes teary wet,
Blaming my mistakes and myself,
For I wrote my own fate.
'No one's perfect',
You used to say.
But I can hardly believe,
It ended this way.
In the pool of solitude,
I often swim,
In search of love,
In search of that 'hope-beam'.
This pool of emptiness,
Its killing me inside,
Drowning in this deadly pool,
With no one to guide.
Return to me
And take me in your lap.
I pray you my love,
I want to be awaken from this nap.
Take me away;
Away from this world of strife,
I really NEED you,
To complete my life.
