It is a cliche lately that love always hurts. Does it really? Does love really hurt like millions of broken hearts are wont to say? I have ruminated long on the thought and have formed an opinion of my own.
Love Never Hurts
It is the lover who does
Hurt you
In their clandestine hearts
With a reason
Not so strong.
The lover is
A killer of a sort
To break and kill
Innocous thriving hearts.
It all comes to hearts
That are all broken apart.
Love Never Hurts
It is but a view
Of shattered souls
Trapped in their own nightmares
Clingling feebly to justification
And finding a hollow one.
Are lovers criminals then?
Sadistic ones?
Or hopeless cases themselves
Their minds blown
By ghosts of their own.
Also read the love poem - finally you broke my heart.
